MANM FOUNDATION team appeals to one and all to come together, get associated ,volunteer in some capacity and create a society and nation at large aware of the magnitude of the drowning issue which is the third largest cause of accidental deaths across the world.

Hundreds of friends, from all over the world, were deeply pained by this loss. Their agony soon transformed into a resolve to initiate measures to prevent more deaths in this place. The efforts of this team took the form of this campaign - "Mandar-And-No-More" ( MANM) This campaign manifests their loving remembrance of Mandar, their real tribute to him and their commitment to save lives from the dangers of water bodies. After, tireless efforts of the MANM team intervening physically at the Kerwa Dam, site in Bhopal, evacuating the waterbody, filling the deep pits with boulders, erecting a BSNL tower, sensitizing the Police station, donating teh rescue equipments to the Police chowki, and appointing a full time swim guard at the site. There has been no accident on teh spot since last 3.5 years. Its been a great achievement by teh MANM team to save lives from the potential drwoning accidents. MANM Foundation is an NGO, dedicated and committed to saving lives from Drowning. The Foundation has been created in fond memories of Mandar Vedghoshe. The life of this young, promising, happy and sensitive boy abruptly came to an end on 21st March 2015. This happened due to a drowning accident in Kerwa Dam water-body, in Bhopal. He was only 16. Reportedly, as many as 176 persons had died at this location, since the construction of dam.

सागर पब्लिक स्कूल में दसवीं का छात्र था। परीक्षा के बाद केरवा डैम में दोस्तों के साथ नहाने गया था। भोपाल. पिछले महीने 15 साल के बेटे मंदार की मौत ने रोटरी क्लब ईस्ट भोपाल के पूर्व अध्यक्ष विश्वास वेदघोषे और उनकी पत्नी प्रतिभा की जिंदगी में एक अजीब सन्नाटे से भर दिया था। सागर पब्लिक स्कूल में दसवीं का छात्र था। परीक्षा के बाद केरवा डैम में दोस्तों के साथ नहाने गया था। डूब गया। लाश ही लौटी थी। उसका सहपाठी शशांक तिवारी डूबते-डूबते बचा। मंदार अकेला ऐसा नहीं, जिसकी यहां डूबने से मौत हो गई। पिछले कुछ सालों में 177 बच्चे या नौजवान ऐसे ही हादसे के शिकार हुए हैं। मंदार की मौत के बाद से विश्वास और प्रतिभा उस स्पॉट पर कई दफा आए, जहां मंदार ने अपने आखिरी कदम पानी में बढ़ाए थे। अब यह परिवार एक अभियान शुरू कर चुका है, मंदार-एंड-नो-मोर। मकसद है, दूसरों...
